Autotech-Recruit-Limited is helping a well-established independent garage in Stourbridge to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester. You will service and inspect vehicles, diagnose faults, and perform MOT tests, working within a friendly, family-run team.

The role offers a base salary around £37,000 with progression based on experience, in a busy 3-ramp workshop environment where quality workmanship is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Current MOT Tester licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently.
• Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
• Completing vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Performing mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Maintaining accurate job records and workshop standards.

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester looking to join a friendly, family-run garage where you're genuinely valued as part of the team?

Our client is a well-established independent garage in Stourbridge with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, honest service, and customer satisfaction. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their close-knit team.

This is a family-run operation with a busy 3-ramp workshop, currently employing two technicians and one front-of-house team member. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the business, working in a supportive environment where everyone contributes to the garage's success.
