Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Motor Vehicle Instructor in Kingston upon Hull, delivering practical and theory-based motor vehicle sessions in a supportive educational setting.

The ideal candidate holds IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3, with a teaching or assessing qualification or willingness to work towards one. You will support learners, adapt delivery for SEND/SEMH, and work in a collaborative team to foster confidence and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle maintenance/repair.
• Teaching or assessing qualification (AET/TAQA/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience working with young people or a strong desire to move into education.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will come from a motor vehicle background and hold an IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification, alongside either a teaching/assessing qualification or a willingness to work towards one. The Person:

• Background in motor vehicle maintenance/repair (Technician, Mechanic or similar)


• IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification (essential)


• Teaching or assessing qualification (AET, TAQA, PGCE etc.) or willingness to work towards


• Experience working with young people or strong desire to transition into education


• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different learners


• Calm, patient and resilient approach


• Passion for supporting and developing young people
