The ideal candidate will come from a motor vehicle background and hold an IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification, alongside either a teaching/assessing qualification or a willingness to work towards one. More importantly, you’ll be patient, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference to learners who need a different approach to education.

The Person:

• Background in motor vehicle maintenance/repair (Technician, Mechanic or similar)
• IMI Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification (essential)
• Teaching or assessing qualification (AET, TAQA, PGCE etc.) or willingness to work towards
• Experience working with young people or strong desire to transition into education
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different learners
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Passion for supporting and developing young people
