An established industry player is seeking a motivated individual to join their GCS Motor team in London. This role focuses on underwriting Commercial Motor insurance, where you'll leverage your analytical skills to assess risks and develop tailored propositions for clients. This role will suit an individual with experience in underwriting Commercial Motor insurance and an interest in developing relationships with brokers and customers. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and confidence in interrogating data to identify trends using tools such as Excel.
The role is part of the GCS Motor team, operating from London, Leeds, and Manchester, responsible for underwriting new and renewal business to contribute to GCS's financial plans. Responsibilities include risk assessment, pricing, and agreeing coverage and terms.
The successful candidate will work closely with other departments within Aviva, including Claims, Client Relationship Management, Distribution, and Risk Management, to create tailored propositions for GCS customers, typically UK-based, with an annual turnover exceeding £250 million.
