This role is ideal for an individual with experience in underwriting Commercial Motor insurance who is interested in building relationships with brokers and customers. The candidate should have an analytical mindset and be confident in analyzing data to identify trends using tools such as Excel.
The role is part of the GCS Motor team, operating from London, Leeds, and Manchester, responsible for underwriting new and renewal business to support GCS financial plans. Responsibilities include risk assessment, pricing, and agreeing coverage and terms.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Claims, Client Relationship Management, Distribution, and Risk Management to create tailored propositions for GCS customers, primarily UK-based, with an annual turnover exceeding £250 million.
