Ips Group in Manchester is seeking a Motor Claims Intervention Handler to join a growing claims team. You will contact non-fault third parties after motor incidents, offering repair solutions and support before credit hire or solicitors are involved.
The role is 40 hours per week and hybrid after probation. The role requires experience in motor claims, FNOL, and intervention, with strong negotiation and communication skills to manage liability and costs while delivering great customer outcomes.
Location: Manchester City Centre (office-based during probation)
Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 + 10% Discretionary Bonus

IPS Group is working with a fast-growing InsurTech that is continuing to expand its UK claims operation. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking to appoint a Motor Claims Intervention Handler to join their newly established claims team in Manchester.
You'll be responsible for contacting non-fault third parties immediately following a motor incident, offering repair solutions, replacement vehicles and other support services before involvement from credit hire companies or solicitors. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll review newly reported claims, assess liability and negotiate directly with third parties to deliver positive customer outcomes whilst helping to reduce overall claims costs. You'll work closely with repairers, engineers and suppliers, ensuring claims are managed efficiently and customers receive the right support from the outset.
You'll have previous experience within Motor Claims, ideally within FNOL, Third Party Claims, Intervention or Credit Hire. You'll be confident speaking with customers over the phone, building rapport quickly and influencing positive outcomes.
