Job summary

MPJ Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading UK business in North Manchester to recruit an experienced Motor Claims Handler. You will deal with insurer scheme claims from cradle to grave, ensuring all new claims are handled efficiently in line with SLAs and delivering high-quality customer service.

The role offers hybrid working after probation, a salary up to £30,000 DOE, overtime and bonuses, pension contributions, and opportunities for progression within a supportive, growth-focused

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' experience in a motor claims role.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to insurer SLAs and maintain data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle motor claims from cradle to grave, ensuring timely progression.
• Respond to inquiries from policyholders, insurers and third parties.
• Ensure data is accurate and in line with SLA and best practice guidelines.
• Work within delegated insurer authority (FNOL, engineer instructions, recovery agents, repairers, solicitors).
• Contribute to a tidy, safe work area and participate in ongoing training and development.

We're looking for candidates with a minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar motor claims role who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and progressing their careers.

• You will deal with insurer scheme claims from "cradle to grave"
• Ensure all new claims are handled efficiently in line with the insurer SLAs
• Handle incoming inquiries from policyholders, insurers and other third parties in a professional manner.
• Ensure all data recorded is factually & grammatically correct and meets agreed SLA's and in line with the insurer "best practice guidelines"
• Handle claims within the delegated authority of the insurer set out in their SLAs which includes the following: FNOL, instructing engineer, recovery agents, repairers, solicitors
• Undertake any other duties as necessary
• Ensure work area is tidy and free of hazards
