MPJ Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a leading UK business in North Manchester to recruit an experienced Motor Claims Handler. This permanent, full‑time role offers hybrid working after training and a Monday–Friday 9:00–17:30 schedule.

You will manage insurer claims from cradle to grave and maintain high customer service standards. A minimum of 12 months’ motor claims experience is required, with strong progression opportunities, training and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a similar motor claims role.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurer scheme claims from cradle to grave.
• Ensure new claims meet insurer SLAs and are processed efficiently.
• Respond to inquiries from policyholders, insurers and third parties professionally.
• Record data accurately and in line with best practice guidelines and SLA requirements.
• Act within the insurer’s delegated authority for FNOL, engineers, recovery agents, repairers and solicitors.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard-free work area.

Motor Claims Handler skills:

• You will deal with insurer scheme claims from "cradle to grave"


• Ensure all new claims are handled efficiently in line with the insurer SLAs


• Handle incoming inquiries from policyholders, insurers and other third parties in a professional manner.


• Ensure all data recorded is factually & grammatically correct and meets agreed SLA's and in line with the insurer "best practice guidelines"


• Handle claims within the delegated authority of the insurer set out in their SLA's which includes the following: FNOL, instructing engineer, recovery agents, repairers, solicitors


• Undertake any other duties as necessary


• Ensure work area is tidy and free of hazards
