Job summary

Aviva in Manchester is looking for a Claims Relationship Lead to manage a portfolio of larger clients and strengthen relationships within our claims practice. You will work with brokers, customers and claims specialists to resolve complex issues and share insights that improve outcomes.

You’ll contribute to acquisition, retention, and the development of bespoke claims protocols, while delivering training and workshops to support service excellence.

Claims Relationship Lead– Salary from £45,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Location: Manchester

This is a great role for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, solving complex challenges and helping clients get the most from their claims experience. You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and be confident engaging with brokers, customers and colleagues across different parts of the business. This role is ideal for someone who combines commercial awareness with claims expertise and enjoys using insight and data to improve outcomes. If you're passionate about delivering excellent service, influencing positive change and supporting business growth, we'd love to hear from you. Regular travel to clients will be required for this role across the UK with a full UK driving license required.

A bit about the job:

Join our Client Relationship team and become the key claims contact for a portfolio of larger clients, helping to strengthen relationships and deliver a market-leading claims experience. You'll work closely with brokers, customers and claims specialists to support day‑to‑day needs, resolve complex issues and connect stakeholders with the right expertise across Aviva. Using claims insight, market trends and performance data, you'll help clients understand their risk profile and identify opportunities to improve outcomes. You'll also support acquisition and retention activities, deliver workshops and training, and contribute to the development of bespoke claims protocols and service solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to influence client experience, support business growth and showcase the value and capability of Aviva Claims.

Skills and experiencewe’relooking for:

• Strong relationship management experience within claims is essential.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with brokers, clients and colleagues.
• Experience analysing and presenting management information, trends and insights to support decision‑making and performance improvement.
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance claims, with the confidence to support discussions around complex or contentious cases.
• Experience delivering presentations, workshops or customer‑facing training, with a focus on customer outcomes and service excellence.

• Starting salary from £45,000(depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
