Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a dedicated Car Insurance Claims Assessor to join our Tamworth team. In this role, you will guide motor claims from intake to resolution, taking ownership of damage, credit hire, and injury cases and making informed decisions on liability and settlements.

You will work with clients, brokers, and suppliers by phone and email to deliver exceptional service, mentor colleagues, and strengthen relationships through meetings and collaborative problem solving across a global

Qualifications

• Experience in managing motor damage and credit hire claims.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles.
• Familiarity with OICP and MOJ Portal Claims processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of motor claims, including damage, credit hire, and injury cases.
• Oversee the entire claims process, making key decisions on fraud, liability, and settlements.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, suppliers, and claimants through phone and email to deliver exceptional service.
• Share your expertise by mentoring and supporting less experienced team members.
• Strengthen client relationships by attending meetings and fostering meaningful partnerships.
