Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a dedicated Car Insurance Claims Assessor (Motor Claims Adjuster) to guide commercial clients through the claims journey. You will own motor claims portfolios, including damage, credit hire, and injury cases, providing decisive outcomes.

Ideal candidates have experience with motor damage and credit hire, strong insurance knowledge, and familiarity with OICP and MOJ Portal. You’ll work in a collaborative, client-focused environment with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of motor claims, including damage, credit hire, and injury cases.
• Oversee the entire claims process, making key decisions on fraud, liability, and settlements.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, suppliers, and claimants through phone and email to deliver exceptional service.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.
• Strengthen client relationships by attending meetings and fostering partnerships.

Join our supportive team in Tamworth as a passionate and skilled Car Insurance Claims Assessor (internally known as a "Motor Claims Adjuster"). In this exciting role, you’ll play a key part in guiding our commercial customers through their claims journey, making a real difference when they need it most.

• Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of motor claims, including damage, credit hire, and injury cases.
• Oversee the entire claims process, making key decisions on fraud, liability, and settlements.
