Job summary

PurpleSquare Hire Limited is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our motor claims team in Middlewich. This permanent role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, handling motor claims, liaising with insurers and repairers, and progressing cases while maintaining excellent customer service and diary management. Training and mentoring may be involved.

Qualifications

• Professional and amiable approach.
• FNOL experience for an insurer or claims handler is an advantage.
• Contact centre experience is an asset but not essential.
• Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and engaged.
• Positive and confident when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional claims handling service.
• Respond to client enquiries via phone calls and emails.
• Reviewing and setting up new claims, instructing partners and updating claims on internal systems.
• Proactive diary management to monitor and progress live cases.
• Liaise with insurers, repairers and other agents.
• Promote our inhouse claims service to clients.
• Conduct liability assessments.
• Keep client/referrers fully updated on their claims.
• Working towards individual and business KPI’s.
• Assist with training and mentoring.
• Attend client review meetings.
• Assist with the day to day admin tasks
