Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Nottingham is seeking an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician for a busy MOT and servicing centre. You will conduct Class 4 MOT tests, inspect brakes, suspension, tyres and emissions, and carry out repairs with hand and power tools.

Handling a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, this business delivers high safety and emissions standards while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate Class 4 MOT tests across diverse makes and models, strictly adhering to DVSA safety and emissions guidelines

Candidate Profile

• MOT Licensing: Active, valid DVSA MOT Tester License required


• Technical Experience: Solid background as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge across brakes, steering, and suspension


• Practical Ability: Confident using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools, with the physical capability to manage workshop tasks safely


• Attitude: Detail-oriented, reliable team player committed to accurate record-keeping and high safety standards


• Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
