Job summary

Vertu Honda Plymouth is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join a busy, high-performing workshop. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA guidelines and support servicing as needed, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £36,950 depending on experience, plus an attractive benefits package and development opportunities. A £2,000 sign-on bonus and a £2,000 retention bonus are included.

Qualifications

Hold a valid MOT Tester qualification.
Possess a full UK driving licence.
Experience working in a dealership, independent garage or fast-fit environment.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Enjoy working as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines and regulations.
Completing vehicle servicing and maintenance work to manufacturer standards.
Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work required.
Providing clear and accurate reports on vehicle condition.
Supporting customer-focused solutions through quality workmanship.
Maintaining workshop efficiency and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
