Job summary

Listers Audi Stratford-upon-Avon is expanding and invites applications for a certificated MOT Tester to join our workshop team. You’ll perform MOT tests and support workshop activities, including video reporting and paperwork to brand standards.

We offer a competitive basic salary of £36,000, modern facilities, and access to industry-leading training linked to your skills. Hours are 08:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with progression opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Licence (DVSA) with current training.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing on vehicles.
• Operate additional systems such as video reporting (CitNOW).
• Complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to share knowledge.
• Work within DVSA framework.
• Ensure work meets high standards within set timescales.

Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated

MOT Tester to join the team at Listers

Audi Stratford-upon-Avon, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests.

The hours of work are 08:30am

to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Role and Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities would include MOT Testing
• You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
• You also will be able to complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
• To work within DVSA framework.
• You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.

About you

• You must have a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and have an up-to-date annual training record and passed the assessment.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations would be beneficial but not essential as brand training will be provided.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
• Full Driving licence.
