Listers Audi Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a certificated MOT Tester to join their team. The role focuses on MOT testing and workshop support, with additional system training and brand-standard paperwork completion.

The position runs 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with a competitive basic salary of £36,000 plus benefits. A comprehensive training program is available to progress your skills within a well-equipped dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licences with DVSA and have up-to-date training.
• Full driving licence required.
• Experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician is beneficial but not essential (brand training provided).
• Experience with Health & Safety and Quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• MOT testing remains the core duty.
• Operate additional systems such as CitNOW video reporting.
• Complete paperwork to manufacturer/brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to share knowledge.
• Work within DVSA framework.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and communicate its impact.
• Ensure all work meets company and MOT standards within timescales.

Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers Audi Stratford-upon-Avon, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests.

The hours of work are 08:30amto 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Role and Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities would include MOT Testing
• You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
• You also will be able to complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
• To work within DVSA framework.
• You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.

About you

• You must have a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and have an up-to-date annual training record and passed the assessment.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations would be beneficial but not essential as brand training will be provided.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
• Full Driving licence.
