Listers Audi Coventry is recruiting a certificated MOT Tester to join the workshop team. You will perform MOT tests and, where trained, use systems like CitNOW. You will complete all paperwork to manufacturer standards and work with colleagues to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires DVSA Class 4/7 MOT licensing, a valid driving licence, and a willingness to undergo brand training. Working hours are Mon-Fri 08:30–17:00 with Saturdays on a rota.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 and 7 MOT licence with DVSA.
• Up-to-date annual training record.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience as motor vehicle technician; brand accreditations beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing to DVSA standards.
• Operate additional systems (e.g., CitNOW video reporting).
• Complete paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to share knowledge.
• Work within DVSA framework and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all work meets established procedures and timescales.

Job Introduction

Due to continuing growth, the opportunity has arisen for a certificated MOT Tester to join the team at Listers Audi Coventry, assisting with a variety of workshop support work alongside MOT Tests.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 -17:00 plus Saturdays on a rota basis.

Role and Responsibilities

• The main responsibilities would include MOT Testing
• You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW.
• You also will be able to complete all paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
• Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
• To work within DVSA framework.
• You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, within required timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures and standards from both the Company and Ministry of Transport.

About you

• You must have a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence with DVSA and have an up-to-date annual training record and passed the assessment.
• Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician and brand accreditations would be beneficial but not essential as brand training will be provided.
• Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
• Full Driving licence.
