Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Part-Time MOT Tester for a busy workshop in Wallingford. You will perform MOT tests to Ministry standards and assist with servicing and repairs.

You should hold an active MOT licence (Class 4 and 7) and a UK driving licence with few points; IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred, but time-served mechanics with MOT licence will be considered. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 (Light Vehicle) preferred or time-served mechanic with MOT licence acceptable

Responsabilités

Part-Time MOT Tester vacancy in Wallingford!

• Salary: Competitive, pending experience.
• Hours: Part-time, approximately 4-5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Our client, a family-run independent service centre based in Wallingford, is currently looking to recruit a Part-Time MOT Tester for their busy workshop, which is well-known for quality and great customer service, operating since 1983.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, you will primarily be responsible for carrying out MOT tests on customers’ vehicles to Ministry standards. You will also diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work, as well as provide workshop support when required.

To be eligible, you will need to hold an active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence and a UK driving licence with minimal points. You will ideally be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; however, our client will also consider time-served vehicle mechanics with an active MOT licence. You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills.
