Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Part-Time MOT Tester for a busy workshop in Wallingford. You will perform MOT tests to Ministry standards and assist with servicing and repairs.

You should hold an active MOT licence (Class 4 and 7) and a UK driving licence with few points; IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance is preferred, but time-served mechanics with MOT licence will be considered. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active MOT licence (Class 4 & 7) required or equivalent
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 (Light Vehicle) preferred or time-served mechanic with MOT licence acceptable

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests on customers' vehicles to Ministry standards.
• Diagnose and carry out associated service and repair work.
• Provide workshop support as required by the team.
