Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an MOT & Preparation Technician for Mercedes Kings Lynn. You will service, diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards while collaborating with Service Reception and Workshop Control.

You’ll occasionally discuss technical opinions with customers and maintain up-to-date product knowledge. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, thorough housekeeping, and clear administration.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential.
• Happy to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work to timescales effectively, with a keen eye for detail.

• Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
• Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
