Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester or MOT Technician to join a busy main dealership in Slough, Berkshire.

Applicants must hold a valid MOT Tester Licence, have MOT testing or automotive workshop experience, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable. The role offers an uncapped bonus and opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Identify and report vehicle defects and safety concerns.
• Complete servicing, maintenance and minor repairs when required.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC).
• Complete MOT documentation and workshop records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency and Health & Safety.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester or MOT Technician to join a busy main dealership in Slough. Applicants must hold a valid MOT Tester Licence, have previous MOT testing or automotive workshop experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable.

Location: Slough, Berkshire

Salary: Basic salary to be confirmed + Uncapped Bonus

OTE: £45,000+

Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rota

MOT Tester Role

MOT Tester Requirements

• Valid MOT Tester Licence
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester, Vehicle Tester or MOT Technician
• Good knowledge of DVSA testing standards and procedures
• Experience within a main dealership or independent garage
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
