Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a dealership in Epsom, offering a stable, customer-focused role in a busy workshop.

You will conduct MOT inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure repairs meet MOT requirements while maintaining high standards of service. The role is Monday–Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota, with training and development opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven MOT Tester experience with valid certification.
• Up-to-date knowledge of MOT testing regulations and procedures.

Benefits

• Basic salary ranging from £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Monday to Friday working pattern, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch
• Approximate one in three Saturday mornings, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, on a rota

Duties of a MOT Tester

• Conducting accurate MOT inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Diagnosing vehicle faults and ensuring repairs meet compliance requirements
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and professional conduct
• Documenting inspection outcomes clearly and professionally
• Supporting the workshop team with general vehicle maintenance tasks as required
