Lindley’s Autocentres is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our Nottingham team. You will conduct DVSA-compliant Class 4 MOT tests, document results, and advise customers on necessary repairs with clear communication.

Qualifications

• DVSA-approved MOT Tester (Class 4 licence required).
• Minimum 2 years’ MOT testing experience in a busy garage/autocentre.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail with high standards of workmanship.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
• Accurately record MOT test results and maintain compliance documentation.
• Advise customers on required repairs or maintenance in a clear, professional manner.
• Support workshop operations when required, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and quality standards.

• Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
• Alternate Saturdays: 08:30 – 13:00
