Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a busy autocentre in Nottingham. You will perform MOT tests, servicing and repairs, and maintain high standards of customer service.

The role offers a competitive salary from £40,000 per year plus monthly performance bonuses, a pension with 5% employer contribution, free annual MOT and service, and ongoing training and development opportunities in a reputable automotive business.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT licence.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Minimum of two years' experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles following legal and safety standards.
• Undertake servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults accurately and recommend required repairs.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with company procedures.
