Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for their Wigan operation. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and MOT tests, ensuring high standards of service.

This role offers career progression within a well-established network of autocentres across the UK. The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK driving licence, and MOT testing licence, with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• MOT testing licence.
• Minimum of two years' experience in automotive service and MOT testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently.
• Perform MOT tests in compliance with current regulatory standards.
• Execute servicing and maintenance tasks on various vehicle models.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
• Provide expert advice to customers regarding vehicle maintenance.
