Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable main dealer group in Manchester for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role. You will service, repair and MOT vehicles to DVSA standards, with an earning potential including a £1,000 annual MOT licence bonus.

The role offers a competitive basic salary of £32,000 with realistic OTE of £36,000–£42,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and performance, plus career progression within the group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI, City & Guilds).
• Proven diagnostic and repair skills.
• Previous experience in a main dealer or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles to high standards.
• Complete MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Conduct vehicle health checks and produce supporting videos.
• Accurately diagnose faults and deliver quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with workshop supervisors and service advisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
