Job summary

Leading Hereford Dealership is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join the busy Service Department in Hereford. You will diagnose faults, service and repair a range of vehicles, and perform MOT testing to Ministry standards, ensuring quality workmanship.

The role offers career development, a generous salary (£24,000–£38,000 with OTE beyond £44,000), uncapped bonuses up to £6,000, overtime at enhanced rates, and comprehensive training including Level 3 qualification

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Valid MOT testing licence is required.
• UK driving licence and proven diagnostics/repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to standards.
• Accurately diagnose faults and report conditions to Service Manager.
• Perform MOT testing in line with Ministry standards.
• Maintain high workmanship standards in a busy environment.
• Assist in achieving departmental targets and support team members.
