Octane Recruitment represents a fast-growing UK automotive business seeking an MOT Technician for their Fforest-fach centre. You’ll conduct MOTs, assist with light repairs, and train toward qualifications if needed.

Requires a valid MOT licence and experience as a Vehicle Technician; no formal qualifications required. Location is Fforest-fach with a salary of £32,600–£40,000 and uncapped OTE progression.

Qualifications

• Must have MOT testing experience or be willing to gain MOT qualifications.
• Experience in light repair work and servicing is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential and DVSA process knowledge is needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete MOTs on customer vehicles.
• Perform light and full-service work.
• Carry out fast-fit duties as required.
• Collaborate with workshop and other departments to meet targets.
• Ensure DVSA process compliance and proper information flow.

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Fforest-fach.

As a MOT Technician would be responsible for completing MOTs on customers cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role you must have a valid MOT licence, as well as experience working as a Vehicle Technician.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location:Fforest-fach

Pay / salary: £32,600 - £40,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

MOT Technician Responsibilities

• Completing MOTs on customer vehicles
• Light and full-service work
• Fast fit duties as and (when required)
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Working with other centre departments (Service, Parts, etc) and ensuring that they are well informed
• Ensure the correct DVSA process is followed

To be a MOT Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence - Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Experience as an MOT Tester
• A valid MOT licence - Essential
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
