Job summary

Protyre Autocare in Swansea is looking for a customer-focused MOT Technician to join our team. You will carry out MOT testing and general mechanical repairs to a high standard, using alignment equipment and fast-fit skills as required.

You will work in a busy centre with a strong focus on customer service, safety, and professional development under the Micheldever Group umbrella.

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Licence required.
• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 6 months.
• Experience in mechanical repairs and fast-fit services.
• Ability to use alignment machines and read readings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA requirements.
• Perform servicing and repairs including brakes and exhausts.
• Carry out fast-fit tyre fitting and wheel alignment.
• Work safely and maintain high presentation and uniforms.
• Respond to reasonable requests from management.

About the role:

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard

Carry out MOT testingin accordance withDVSA testing requirements

General servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical products.

Fast Fit Tyre fitting whilst being able to use an alignment machine and understand the reading and relevant adjustments

Working in a safe manner and alwayscomply withhealth & safety regulations

Ensure a high standard of personal presentation including always wearing correct company uniform.

Conduct any reasonable request / tasks asdeemednecessary by the management team.

About you:

A valid MOT Licence

You will have experience in mechanical and fast fit repairs which may include tyre fitting, exhausts, brakes, suspension, generalservicingand repairs to a wide range of vehicles

Full UK Driving Licence
