Job summary

MONY Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager – Mortgages to lead end-to-end growth across Mortgages, equity release, conveyancing and surveys. You will own revenue, margin and partner ecosystems, delivering value through lenders, brokers and fintech collaborators.

In a maternity cover fixed-term role, you’ll shape strategy, drive performance, ensure regulatory alignment with FCA Consumer Duty, and work with cross-functional teams to optimise customer outcomes and market position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the mortgage market and key commercial drivers.
• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech or Ecommerce with a commercial focus.
• Understanding of mortgage distribution models, lead generation and conversion dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Be the sole Commercial Manager for Mortgages, driving performance and growth.
• Own Mortgages revenue, margin and growth targets.
• Lead trading strategy using data, insight and market intelligence.
• Build and execute a channel, proposition and partner roadmap.
• Develop relationships with lenders, brokers and fintech partners for joint revenue.
• Support negotiations and partnerships to boost customer value and market position.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve conversion and customer journeys.
• Ensure governance, regulatory compliance and consumer duty alignment.
• Lead a high-performing team with accountability and customer focus.
• Monitor market trends and translate insights into strategic actions.
