Job summary

Reset Recruitment Ltd is assisting a small, whole‑of‑market mortgage brokerage in Hove to recruit a Mortgage Operations Manager (Case Handler). This office-based role manages a caseload from submission to completion, coordinating with clients, lenders and solicitors to keep applications moving smoothly.

You will ensure documentation meets lender criteria, upload onto portals, and maintain CRM records. Strong IT skills with Word/Excel and CeMAP (or willingness to pursue) are desired.

Qualifications

• Proven mortgage administration experience, ideally in a brokerage.
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship skills.
• Strong IT skills: Word, Excel, CRM systems and lender portals.
• CeMAP qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of mortgage applications from submission through to completion
• Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress applications efficiently
• Preparing and submitting mortgage and protection cases, ensuring all documentation meets lender criteria
• Uploading applications onto lender portals and maintaining accurate records on the CRM system
• Reviewing client documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with FCA regulations
• Providing regular updates to clients, ensuring a smooth and transparent customer journey
• Assisting with more complex and specialist mortgage cases
• Maintaining adherence to internal processes, compliance requirements, and industry legislation
