Job summary

Oyster is seeking an experienced Mortgage Case Manager to own a portfolio of live mortgage and finance applications from initial assessment through to completion. You will coordinate with brokers, lenders, underwriters and clients to progress cases efficiently while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

The role focuses on residential lending with potential to support bridging, buy-to-let and specialist lending as the service expands.

Qualifications

• Experience managing mortgage applications end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of residential lending and underwriting.
• Proven ability to liaise with lenders, brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess client circumstances and property details to identify borrowing options.
• Submit accurate mortgage applications through lender portals.
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders and underwriters throughout the process.
• Monitor conditions and respond to underwriting queries to progress cases.
• Maintain FCA/compliance records and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain relationships across the lending market.
