Job summary

UK Bank in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mortgage Case Handler to manage a Buy-to-Let pipeline from offer to completion, prioritising fast-paced workflows and precise progress tracking.

You will liaise with underwriters, credit, risk, brokers, solicitors, valuers and customers to progress cases, review documentation and conditions, and provide timely post-offer updates to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of Buy-to-Let mortgage cases from offer through to completion, prioritising workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Liaise with Underwriters, Credit, Risk, Brokers, Solicitors, Valuers and Customers to progress cases and resolve queries.
• Review legal documentation, searches, indemnities and offer conditions to ensure completion requirements are satisfied.
• Act as a key point of contact for brokers and solicitors, managing post-offer queries and outstanding requirements.
• Apply BTL credit policies and lending criteria to resolve issues and manage escalations where required.
• Monitor valuation, credit search and offer expiry dates, taking proactive action to avoid delays.
• Coordinate with completion teams to ensure timely release of funds and smooth case completion.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and MI reports, providing completion forecasts and management updates.
• Support senior management with portfolio reports, presentations and analysis.
• Ensure customers and intermediaries receive timely updates throughout the post-offer process.
