This role involves recruiting high-calibre candidates, ensuring FCA compliance, and implementing initiatives for team performance improvement.

Overview:

A well-known estate agency requires an experienced mortgage area director / mortgage sales manager to supervise an existing team of home-based mortgage brokers and recruit up to an additional 20 brokers to join your team.

Main Duties:

Supervise an existing small team of fully CeMAP qualified self-employed mortgage brokers, ensuring they provide regulated mortgage and protection advice. Maintain FCA standards, highlight areas of development and implement initiatives to improve performance. Recruit up to 20 additional high‑calibre, self‑employed mortgage brokers, receiving financial bonuses on all business that the team banks.

Key Skills:

Experience as a sales manager in the financial services industry with an excellent track record of recruiting, motivating and leading a high‑performing team of mortgage brokers. Ability to recruit high‑calibre mortgage brokers in high numbers to reach the headcount of 30 mortgage and protection brokers.
