Job summary

We have a rare opportunity in Warrington (Office Based) for a Senior Mortgage and Protection Manager to oversee our existing Mortgage Advisers and Support team, shaping the operational and sales side of the business with funders, investors, solicitors, and valuers. You will market, negotiate, and build strong relationships as you drive growth and quality.

The role suits someone ambitious, driven and ready to take the next step in their career, with CeMAP or equivalent and a track record of sales

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualification (or industry recognised equivalent) is a must have.
• Proven track record of being a sales leader with Mortgage services.
• Excellent level of technical and e-commerce knowledge particularly relevant to the housing and mortgage market.
• Experience in leading, developing, motivating, and influencing salespeople in a customer facing environment.
• An excellent knowledge of Financial Services core products i.e. Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Buildings & Contents Insurance.
• Working knowledge of all legislation impacting on a Financial Services business, specifically a mortgage & protection business.
• A good level of technical and e-commerce knowledge to train Mortgage Consultants to promote our services efficiently and effectively using a mortgage sourcing software solution

Responsibilities

• Develop a team of Mortgage advisers to achieve their personal business objectives and specific performance and quality standards set by the company.
• Support the recruitment, development, and retention of Mortgage Advisers in line with the Company’s recruitment plan.
• Work closely alongside other group company colleagues to ensure a consistent and joined up approach is adopted in respect to all business development activities, ensuring that objectives are always delivered in line with the business plans.
• In conjunction with the Company Directors, implement, monitor, and evaluate business plans to achieve the required growth in revenue from a range of income streams.
• Ensuring that the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) are always adhered to.
• Work closely with the Company Directors to continually review the training & development needs of team members.
• Deliver a challenging and rewarding environment which encourages staff to continually add value, improve ways of working and develop and grow personally.

The Role

This role will give exposure into the operational and sales side of the business where you will be instrumental in the marketing, corporate negotiations and relationship building with funders, investors, solicitors, and valuers, etc.
