Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau in Derby is seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis, with a clear path to progress into mortgage advice. You will support the team through the full mortgage application process and help deliver an excellent customer experience.

As you develop, there is potential for a hybrid Mortgage Administrator / Mortgage Adviser role, commencing with more straightforward advice such as product transfers and remortgages.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage administration.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage application and completion process.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• CeMAP qualification or strong interest in progressing into mortgage advice.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support throughout the mortgage application process.
• Progressing mortgage cases from application through to completion.
• Liaising with customers, lenders, solicitors and other relevant parties.
• Keeping customers and advisers updated on the progress of applications.
• Ensuring systems and records are kept accurate and up to date.
• Supporting the wider mortgage team with day-to-day administration.
• Helping to ensure customers receive a consistently high standard of service.
