Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau in Derby is seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join a supportive team and progress into mortgage advice. You will handle administrative tasks, manage cases through to completion, and liaise with customers, lenders, and solicitors to ensure a smooth process.

Ideal candidates hold CeMAP or are keen to progress toward mortgage advice, with a strong desire to develop in a hybrid administration/advice role over time.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage administration and a solid understanding of the mortgage process.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to keep customers updated.
• Organised and able to manage a busy workload with accuracy.
• Team player who can work collaboratively with advisers and lenders.
• Keen to progress into mortgage advice and take on greater responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support throughout the mortgage application process.
• Progress cases from application to completion.
• Liaise with customers, lenders, solicitors and other parties.
• Keep customers and advisers updated on progress of applications.
• Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Support the wider mortgage team with daily administration.
• Help deliver a high standard of service to customers.
