Hove Learning Federation is seeking a Fixed Term Learning Support Assistant to join Hove Junior School. You will work five mornings per week, supporting pupils with diverse needs and collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to promote inclusive learning.

The role is based at Hove Junior School with a fixed schedule, offering a total salary in the 28k range and a commitment to safeguarding and equality. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, highly motivated and team oriented Learning Support Assistant.
• Experience with children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or dyslexia is desirable.
• Willingness to work 5 mornings per week (8:40am–1:15pm).

Responsabilités

• Work with the class teacher and SENCO to help children engage with the learning and access the curriculum.
• Support students with additional needs to participate in lessons and activities.
• Assist with phonics, reading and speech and language interventions if applicable.
