Job summary

InterMoor, part of Acteon's Moorings and Anchors division, is hiring a Trainee Equipment Maintenance Assistant based in Montrose. You will assist the Yard Supervisor with maintenance and condition assessment of palletised mooring equipment, and support mobilisation and demobilisation activities.

Essential qualifications include strong communication skills and a National 5 or higher. Desirable to have HNC, mooring equipment experience, Banksman & Slinger level, forklift certification, and a full

Qualifications

• High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.
• Good standard of education, National 5 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that instructions given by the Yard Supervisor or middle management are carried out in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
• Maintenance of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory
• Assisting with Quayside operations which will include direct contact with Client representatives
• General Yard duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control
• Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria.
• Supporting our Inspection team
• Weekend Duty Responsibility
