Job summary

InterMoor Limited in Montrose is seeking a Marine Operative to support mooring equipment mobilisation, demobilisation and maintenance at our Montrose facility.

You will work under Senior/Management directions, maintain equipment inventory, assist Quayside operations, and perform general yard duties with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with mooring equipment handling and inspections.
• Must hold Banksman & Slinger Basic Level.
• Full UK Driving Licence and forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain InterMoor equipment inventory.
• Assist with Quayside operations and client liaison.
• Carry out yard duties, housekeeping and stock control.
• Inspect equipment to pass/fail criteria and support Inspection team.
• Weekend duty responsibilities as required.
• Coordinate with Clients and Yard team on hires and returns.

This approach mitigates risks in delivery, installation and operations across the lifecycle, reducing mooring lifecycle costs and safeguarding major operations that protect start-up schedules when mooring and mooring intervention are on the project or production critical path.We are looking to recruit a Marine Operative to be based at out Montrose Facility, this will assist the Yard Supervisor and yard personnel with carrying out duties to facilitate the mobilisation, demobilisation and maintenance of mooring equipment both locally and internationally. Ensure that instructions given by the Yard Supervisor and Management are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. This includes whilst off-site working at the Quayside or additional Intermoor facilities.Duties/Responsibilities•Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations•Maintenance of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory•Assisting with Quayside operations which will include direct contact with Client representatives•General Yard duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control•Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria.•Supporting our Inspection team•Weekend Duty Responsibility•Liaising with both Clients and the Yard team respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returnsRequirements•Sufficient experience of mooring equipment handling and inspections•Banksman & Slinger Basic Level•Fork lift truck basic certification•Full UK Driving Licence•High level of communication skills in both written and spoken formatLocation MontroseWork Country Scotland
