Working with the Yard Supervisor and Operations Supervisor, you will manage equipment movements, certification, transportation, maintenance needs, and client/supplier communications, while assisting invoicing,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an operational / projects environment
• A full UK Driving License
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience using an equipment / asset management system such as InspHire, SAP or Maximo (or similar)
• Experience using Sage 50 (or similar)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment movements, certification, transportation and maintenance requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations and administration from mobilisation through demobilisation.
• Liaise with client and supplier communications and prepare project documentation.
• Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, stock and inventory control, and customs documentation.
• Occasional visits to Montrose yard and participation in an on-call rota.

First Marine Solutions (FMS) are a service provider to the local and international renewables and oil & gas sectors specialising in the engineering, design, procurement, installation, and maintenance of mooring systems for floating platforms.

The Role?

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join the team in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a varied role supporting the day-to‑day delivery of operations, with responsibility for coordinating equipment, documentation, equipment logistics, purchasing, and general administration. The successful candidate will ensure equipment requirements are prepared and controlled effectively from mobilisation through to demobilisation.

Working closely with the Yard Supervisor and Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will coordinate equipment movements, certification, transportation, maintenance requirements, whilst also supporting client and supplier communications, ensuring project documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner. You will also assist with invoicing, purchase orders, stock and inventory control and customs documentation.

The role will suit someone who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and is comfortable managing competing priorities. The role also involves occasional visits to our Montrose yard and will include participation in an on‑call rota.

Your Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in an operational / projects environment
