Thorn Baker Construction seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead modular construction projects nationwide, ensuring safe delivery, programme adherence and quality. You will oversee on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction.
• Experience delivering modular, off-site MMC or traditional build projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site health & safety.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and trades.
• Ensure works meet programme and project objectives.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control and meet project specifications.
• Manage modular installation, fit-out and commissioning activities.
• Monitor progress and prepare site reports.
• Support handover and defect management processes.
