Job summary

RSR is seeking a Modern Slavery Outreach Advocate to support survivors and manage caseloads, coordinating with partner agencies to access housing, healthcare, legal advice, and financial support while ensuring safety. The role requires trauma-informed, person-centred support and regular travel across the West Midlands.

You will complete risk assessments, advocate for clients, maintain records to meet performance targets, and provide practical and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults, children or individuals with complex needs and delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support.
• Experience completing risk assessments and developing person-centred support plans.
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children; safeguarding experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking
• Completing risk and needs assessments and developing person-centred support plans
• Supporting clients through the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) process
• Providing practical and emotional support to promote recovery and independence
• Working with partner agencies to access accommodation, healthcare, financial support, legal advice and other essential services
• Maintaining accurate case records and meeting contractual performance targets
• Advocating on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the support and services they are entitled to
• Promoting safeguarding and ensuring appropriate action is taken where risks are identified.
