Job summary

Roxel UK seeks a senior Systems Engineering Lead to establish and drive a requirements management and systems engineering process across solid rocket motor programmes. You will champion a lean, shared systems engineering culture, balancing rigorous safety standards with practical engineering execution.

Lead the ALM/Codebeamer implementation, ensure traceability from requirements to components, and coach engineers in the systems engineering mindset while aligning with DEF STAN and aerospace

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in a systems/aerospace/mechanical engineering discipline.
• A sound understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with safety-critical aerospace environments and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the requirements management and systems engineering methodology using established frameworks (NASA SE Handbook, INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 & 29148).
• Own and configure the ALM/requirements management system including definitions, refinement, architecture, traceability, baselines and change control.
• Build the systems engineering capability across the engineering team through examples, diagrams and training.
• Prototype and prove the process on development programs before scaling across the business.
• Define links between requirements and physical components, ensuring bidirectional traceability.
