Roxel UK is seeking a permanent Product Safety Engineer to own day-to-day safety activities across the development lifecycle of rocket motor products at Summerfield, Kidderminster. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety case quality and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a Lead or Senior track depending on experience, requires strong communication, and familiarity with hazard assessment methods such as FMEA/FTA; security vetting applies.

Qualifikationen

• Formal degree or equivalent in engineering, science or technical discipline.
• Proven experience in a regulated high-hazard industry (defence/aerospace) is essential.
• Experience with hazard identification and analysis techniques (FMEA, FTA, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain safety risks to non-safety stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain product safety management plans and roadmaps for development.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify hazards and drive risk reduction to ALARP.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to ensure robust safety case evidence.
• Author high-quality safety case reports to demonstrate product safety for intended use.
• Act as primary safety engineering contact within the project, coordinating with stakeholders.
