Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager (Defence) to manage key MOD accounts and senior stakeholders across Scotland and the UK. The role emphasizes relationship-building, understanding client requirements, and coordinating across engineering, project management and quality teams to deliver contractual commitments.

Location is Glasgow or Edinburgh, with home-based flexibility. Travel to client sites across Scotland and the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in client relationship management or stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with MOD, DIO, defence contractors or public sector organisations.
• Knowledge of MOD procurement, contract delivery and defence procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with senior stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing issues.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• HNC/HND or equivalent, full UK driving licence, and eligibility for UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for MOD contracts and client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with military personnel, civilian representatives, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Engage regularly with clients to understand requirements and expectations.
• Manage client queries and escalations promptly, maintaining confidence.
• Coordinate internal teams to communicate requirements clearly.
• Monitor contractual deliverables and potential delivery risks.
• Support contract reviews, performance reporting and management of commitments.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on feedback, risks and opportunities.
• Represent the organisation at client meetings and site visits.
