Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International in Bristol seeks a UK Defence Market Representative to leverage an existing MOD procurement and NSPA network. This long-term, relationship-led role focuses on the UK defence and security market, identifying opportunities before tenders are published and managing key stakeholder relationships.

You will influence specifications, grow the business across MOD, law enforcement and private security channels, and manage multi-year contracts (£10–£15 million).

Qualifications

• Active, established relationships within UK MOD procurement or NSPA.
• Former military professional, procurement specialist, or MOD-facing commercial role.
• Strong understanding of UK defence procurement and relationship-led sales.
• Experience managing multiyear contracts in the region of £10 to 15 million.
• Based in or within easy reach of Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Leverage existing MOD and NSPA relationships to identify and develop opportunities
• Influence product specifications before tenders are published
• Manage relationships with military stakeholders, law enforcement, and private security organisations
• Support tender processes and work toward contract wins
• Expand presence into new UK channels including police forces and private security
