Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is sourcing a Mobile Workshop Engineer for a market-leading global company based in Aberdeen. The role combines workshop work on pumps, motors, gearboxes and diesel engines with offshore travel to install and commission at customer sites.

You will be mentored with ongoing shadowing and training on state-of-the-art industrial equipment, with opportunities to gain offshore tickets.

Qualifications

• Experience working on rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes or diesel engines.
• Hands-on engineer with workshop and offshore exposure.
• Willing to travel overseas and gain offshore tickets via company training.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing, installing and commissioning rotating equipment.
• Working on pumps, motors, gearboxes and diesel engines, with training provided.
• Primarily workshop-based (80%), with offshore travel (20%).
• 39 hours per week; Mon-Thu 7:30am–4pm, finish at 3pm on Friday.
