Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is sourcing a Mobile Workshop Engineer for a market-leading global company based in Aberdeen. The role combines workshop work on pumps, motors, gearboxes and diesel engines with offshore travel to install and commission at customer sites.

You will be mentored with ongoing shadowing and training on state-of-the-art industrial equipment, with opportunities to gain offshore tickets.

Formación

• Experience working on rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes or diesel engines.
• Hands-on engineer with workshop and offshore exposure.
• Willing to travel overseas and gain offshore tickets via company training.

Responsabilidades

Are you a hands-on Engineer with experience working on rotating equipment, looking for an exciting opportunity with plenty of day-to-day variety, working for a market-leading global company in a role split between the workshop and offshore?

Are you looking to be invested in, with ongoing shadowing on state-of-the-art industrial equipment, along with gaining your offshore tickets?

In this role you will be primarily workshop based (80%) working on pumps, motors, diesel engines, and associated equipment, then travelling to customer sites overseas (20%) to service, install and commission. There will be ongoing shadowing in the workshop to bring your skills up and make you a rounded engineer.

This manufacturing company are leaders in their specialist sector, with hundreds of employees worldwide and a turnover of £80 million. They supply into the Oil & Gas sector primarily and are willing to put people through their offshore tickets for this role.

This role would suit a hands-on Workshop/Service Engineer who has experience in rotating equipment, looking for a diverse new role within an internationally recognised company.

The Role:
