Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Workshop Engineer to service pumps, electric motors and related equipment in a hands-on workshop environment. Based in Farnborough, Hampshire, the role offers training, progression and a competitive package.

You will dismantle, diagnose and repair pumps and motors, with opportunity to rewinding motors and develop electrical skills. A full UK driving licence is required and standard hours apply.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with experience in pumps, motors or HVAC equipment advantageous
• Experience with electrical fault finding and repair would be beneficial
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Dismantling, diagnosing and repairing pumps and electric motors
• Rewinding electric motors where experienced, with training available
• Reassembling pumps, motors and air handling equipment
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Inspecting and testing equipment before return to customers
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
